    Inquiry about an interesting situation

I have a friend who told me this story of a guy:

Basically asked a cop (I think a bike cop) why he was doing a speed trap in some area and then he basically told him to F off (Not sure about the F off part). Anyways, I guess the started to question him and as that happened the guy that told him off drove off in his car. The bike cop pursued the guy until he stopped and the cop drew a gun on the guy in the car (he had a baby in the car in a baby seat) and told him to turn off the car and get out and that he was under arrest... This put the guy on probation and then the guy got a speeding ticket later that put him in jail b/c he violated probation. I am just wondering with this limited information and from what I know the guy didn't make any threatening gestures or quick movements to reach for anything while in the car. What are some thoughts and possible information of why the cop would react this way? (I understand the guy shouldn't have told the cop to F off in the first place, or w/e he said to him) Thanks.

There's a lot missing from this story, whether it was left out when told to you or left out here.

    # 1, there is no such thing as a speed trap, either you are speeding or you're not.

    Okay - I have one:

So, this friend of mine said he wasn't doing nothing and he got arrested and put in jail. What happened and why did the police do that?

Do you think maybe just maybe you dont know the whole story ?

More like your friend did have a conversation with the officer.

The friend wore out his welcome and was told to hit the pike.

The officer ran your friend through as he was driving away.

Your friend either had a suspended license , license plates or warrants.

Your friend was arrested ( even with a baby in the car) and ended up on probation.

Your friend violated probation and got locked up.

I,ll bet MY version is a whole lot closer to the truth than what you think your is.

Now there ya go, why you gotta come up with a simple explanation for what actually happened...now I can't use my imagination about the REAL reason...

So... basically, you're an unnamed Internet poster asking a bunch of unnamed cops to mind-read some anonymous guy with an unnamed baby and an unknown motorcycle (or maybe not) cop in some unspecified location about an incident that happened at some unstated point in time in the past.

We can't mind-read them to find out what happened, if we don't even know who or where they are.

I would have arrested the baby also as an accessory.

(need to try out the new baby handcuffs I bought)
