I was pulled out over and the cop said it was because I made an illegal u-turn at an traffic light. He said I made this u-turn on a street, which I was never on in a part of town, that I never happened to be in. I politely told him that I wasn't in that area at all that night or haven't been for a few months. He disagreed, and told me to wait for my ticket. He then came back and after reading the ticket, he wrote down I made an illegal u-turn.
But instead of writing down the street he said I did, he wrote down the streets at the intersection, that was nearest me, when he pulled me over. He probably just looked at the street sign and decided to use that street. So, if I fight this and bring it to a judge, how would a judge most likely look at it? I have no evidence, accept the cops word against mine. Is that probably not enough, and I'll probably loose and have to pay court costs as well?
