Report Immigration Marriage Fraud

Simple and straight forward response. I have to admit you've made me feel like nothing, but then again that can change if I start reporting illegal activities. The question is, would ICE even deem my tip credible? I mean I can imagine there have been many instances where people report what they think is a fraud, but infact is legit. I would really get pissed off if I reported this, and the guy was still issued the green card.

Absolutely without a doubt, our daughter is going to be 3 in december. On the other hand I know there is no love involved in my friends marriage. Besides it's pretty obvious, shes 12 years older than him, shes white, and he's hispanic. Plus she has 3 kids underage kids, and he has none, and they don't even live together. Hell, the guy is even using a relative as a sponsor because she doesn't work!!! So I mean it's completely obvious that the marriage is strictly business. Without a doubt I will call the ICE fraud unit, but will my name be kept ananymous?

If I were you, I would go to school and study law. Take your bar exam and become a defense attorney. You already have the mentality, all your lacking is the knowledge.

My mom did always tell me that I would make a good attorney. On the other hand my heart does not care whether Gabriela is legal or not. I love her just the way she is, and I hope that my feelings towards her don't diminish my chances of becoming a LEO.

In life there is only so much you can do about anything. I suggest you report it to ICE. You can find their contact information through google. yes all tips are credible until they are proven otherwise.

What happenes after that you will probably never know but you did your part so you can sleep easy.

There is actually a marriage fraud unit within ICE. They are civilian (not law enforcement). We just hired a guy who used to do that. They get calls all the time and are always looking for work.

Are you sure you aren't referring to CIS (Citizenship & Immigration Service)? They have a marriage fraud unit, since CIS is responsible for adjudicating, issuance of visa's and finally, approval for citizenship, but they're not LEO's. If they find evidence of criminality, they refer it to HSI (formerly ICE Investigations).

If you were referring to HSI, then it must be a HSI/SAC/NYC thing, cause BIG has never seen or heard of such an animal within HSI. Not is his current office, his former office, nor any of the other 3 offices of which BIG has spent considerable time working.

Yes I was referring to CSI. Our recent hire was a civilian investigator with CIS . Sorry for the mistake...I tend to lump all involved with immigration into the ICE category.

Allright guys, I contacted ICE and reported it. I've already done my share, I just hope they deem my accusations credible and proceed with an investigation. If they don't then they're the fools.

Well I wasn't going to take any chances. I'm certain I did what's best, regardless if I become a LEO one day or not. By the way I'm excited. I have an appointment with a recruiter from the National Guard on Monday!!!

Well, I really don't know any spanish people that are legal residents or citizens. Most of them seem to be illegal/undocumented. I mean besides i have contact with the guy every day, since we work together. You guys are making me realize that I must fix many issues in my life before even considering becoming a LEO. I give thanks to all those that have commented.

You know that the above is just throwing gas on the fire, right?

Now you're telling us that not only do you know illegal alien(s) but you knowingly work with illegal aliens? I hate to bust your bubble but that's way more serious then your supposed and or suspected marriage fraud. I hope when you called your local ICE office to report the marriage fraud you reported that your employer knowingly employs illegal aliens.
