Odd forum interactions

I randomly found this forum and started reading through posts. I've noticed in thread after thread, you gang up on and attack non-LEO members, making wild accusations regarding motives and sounding dogmatically sure of your assertions and otherwise being cruel. You talk matter-of-factly about really terrible stuff you've done. You don't ever consider the possibility that you or anyone else in your circle is wrong about anything outside of it.

This has shocked me because the reason I was looking for sites like this in the first place is that one of my friends has been badmouthing cops a lot and saying they're unnecessary 'domestic terrorists', and I was upset, because I think of you as heroes. I wanted to prove to him that he was wrong, but reading over these threads... what are you people thinking for Christ's sake? Are really so inhuman?

Why? He's right.., Sorry his FRIEND is right. We're all terrorists. Perhaps he can explain what his friend means by unnecessary domestic terrorists.
Are there necessary domestic terrorists?
Perhaps the poster can elude to the terrible things we have done.

Sometimes people, including cops, can be rude. At other times, they are simply responding to rude posts, untrue accounts of police behavior, or blatant attempts to post flame bait.

For the most part, posters on this forum are not "attacked" by the law enforcement members when they post questions, even questions that are at times inflammatory accusations of improper police behavior with no references with which to support them.

A good example would be your post, which has not been "attacked" despite being rude and, for all appearances, being nothing more than flame bait which has no purpose except to foment an annoyed or rude response on the part of the board members.

I'm sorry if reading posts on this board has "shocked" you. Perhaps you should retreat from the Internet if you are so easily shocked; the posts on this board are extremely mild compared to the rest of the Internet. If the content here shocks you, the content on 90% of the web might physically injure you.

Welcome to the forum.

We give people the hard truth here, and sometimes they don't want to hear it. We don't coddle people because that's not how the world works. If people want someone to give them an answer they want to hear (instead of the truth as we see it) then they are better off somewhere else.

I am closing this thread because i don't really see an "ask a cop" type question in it. You are welcome to stay, and I invite you to PM me with specific exapmples of the following:

-Cops talking "matter of factly" about "terrible things" we have done.
-Being unnecessarily cruel to members
-Places where multiple verified officers gave an answer that was "wrong"

We sound very sure of our answers here despite some people disagreeing with us becasue we deal with the criminal Justice System every day. So when someone who has a question asks it, and then argues with the answer because it's not what they wanted to hear, we aren't going to change our tune because they didn't like it.

We deal with people every day. We question people's veracity and motives here because people lie to us every single day. We get a pretty good sense of when something doesn't smell right.

Each of these non leo people recently registered, asked a question, got a truthful, no punches pulled answer and no one ganged up on them, they didn't get upset with the answer and try to argue, and everyone was happy.

I submit that in the cases you are citing, it's not the officers who are the problem.

Like I said, feel free to stick around, and PM me if you want to discuss this more, but you are not apt to get a great reception here if the sole content of your posts is "This is a terrible site and you guys are mean to all the civilians who come here" as your very first post here has been.
