    Reporting A Suspected Drug Dealer?

So, out of curiosity. I live in an apartment in Topeka with fairly thin walls, and in my bedroom at night I hear things from next door fairly easily. Yesterday, I am 90% sure I heard a drug deal go down in the apartment next to mine, to the extent that I heard an amount ("three dime bags") and a drug type (Sno-cap? Sno-ball? Something with snow) discussed. Is this something I should call the cops over? Would they even be able to do anything about it based on what I heard?

I'm about to start work as a CO myself, so I obviously want to do the right thing, but I don't want to bother the police if nothing will come of it.

You could stop by your local PD and let them know.

But that being said how are you sure it was a drug deal? Are you sure it wasn't a movie or something on TV?
    Wrong door, buddy

No, it certainly could have been. And I have nothing to support my thought that it was a drug deal other than the general rate of that kind of thing in the area I'm living in. Which is why I wanted to ask.
