Typically, gang members are part of their gang for life, right?
Does anyone know what happens if the gang member gets really old and they get sick -- like they have a heart attack/stroke, or need to go on dialysis, or become paralyzed, or get terminal cancer, etc.
Are they still part of the gang if anything like that happens, even though they can't go out and do gang stuff (you know, kill people and deal drugs and whatnot)?

Gang members either die by age 30 or they do life in prison. I don't think they worry about getting old.

There is no retirement home for gang-bangers. They will die of drugs or be murdered long before they will ever reach SS age.
