Meh, Prop 19 is just the cartel's way of shipping their goods legally to the US and then "distributing" it elsewhere.
Its not like those mom and pop growers will last that long anyways. Cartels already produce the stuff easily and heavily and there is no benefit to legalizing it other than letting the stoners buy the s*** in stores?
Tax it? I laugh at that notion. Big businesses get out of paying full taxes easily. I'm sure the cartels shipping the stuff also know our tax system enough to import the green leafs and send it to walmart quite easily.
It'll produce jobs? Uh huh, if your a low life. I personally believe that all legal weed will be from Mexico. After all, who produces the largest supply to the US? It aint in Cali, thats for damn sure.
