Once it was over did you want to move to a different city and start fresh and if kids were involved did that influence your career decisions because you knew taking a job with a different agency would also in some fashion effect your relationship with your child (for example relocating)

Luckily my ex ran off to another state to avoid me divorcing her. Unluckily, she took my SSN with her and opened a bunch of credit accounts in my name which she had billed to my address.
Or course, my ex tried to shoot me when we separated, so I wasn't really that sad to see her leave the state.
