.... The PTSD was really starting to rage about then (I didn't know that's what it was) and I had lost all patience with stupidity, arrogance, laziness and the sheer incompetence of people I depended on now and then for the simplest things.

At the same time though, I had no problem dealing with the public or other aspects of the job. I could find satisfaction and humor everywhere but above me.

I didn't realize that I must have been suffering from PTSD, too.

One of my problems was that my bosses didn't appreciate my sarcastic humor.

At one point they sent me to "Anger Management" because they didn't understand that their in-house competition for suspending people over mickey mouse BS was sheer idiocy, and I had the poor judgement of pointing out some of their past indiscretions for which they would have otherwise been terminated by they, themselves.

One of my problems was that my bosses didn't appreciate my sarcastic humor.

A survival technique I developed fairly early on was to not say anything unless what they did affected ME at that moment by making my job harder or whatever.

I was pretty good at not caring what they did as long as I wasn't involved. I got out of my crusading mode after only a few years.
