I doubt that any detention facility would let someone out, convicted or not, to vote. Undue hardship on staff who are tasked with protecting the many; not seeing one gets their vote.

Not here. That's one of those little inconveniences people have to tolerate. Well, that and rooming with Bruno the child molester, the wonderful food and otherwise great companionship. Seriously, I suspect most people in jail have a lot more on their mind than voting. Civic mindedness is not a trait I saw in most people I busted.
