The only reason you don't see the same violence here as we do in Mexico is because the added law enforcement and media attention would make it harder for them to move people, guns, money, and narcotics across the border and to their final destinations all across the United States.

These are not street gangs, these are criminal organizations on par with the mafia, only more violent. The cartels are major international criminal organizations with revenues above or equal to some of the wealthiest companies in the world.

As long as lawyers make all the decisions for the US govt, exactly nothing will be done. They will hang some paper on the bad guys who will surely appreciate the extra surface area that long bonded legal paper provides - when they wipe their butts with it. The DC lawyers will find a "safe" outlet for their impotence, like blame a tea party or the NRA.

We wouldnt have to deal with this crap if the military leadership and cIA are given the green light.
