How Bad will my history hurt his Background check

Ok I have scoured here and the entire internet trying to figure out how much of impact my family and credit history will impact my husband. Currently he is at the beginning of the background process. They have sent the investigator out to our home to meet with us and not the rest follows. I am SCARED to death that my poor credit and the fact that my entire family has a criminal history will blow this opportunity for him. I myself have no criminal history. I do have bad credit due to medical bills, a chapter 7 and falling on hard times. However slowly things are looking up.

My husband and I have been married for 3 months. knew before we married that this was his ambition and I fully support him. I was unaware of how deep into backgrounds they go and I am worrying myself sick that I will be the cause of him missing this opportunity. Let me be real clear.....I fully support him and have paid a price (friends and family just don't want to hang out with me anymore...lol) and will continue to do so he is my world and I want him to reach his goals. To be completely honest if it took our separating for him to make it.....I would consider it. I do not want to fail my husband. Any words of advice (I have been 100% honest with the investigator) or encouragement would be awesome.
