Anyone have information on Supreme Court Police?

Hello--I'm a writer of romantic thrillers and researching my 31st book. I have questions regarding duties and responsibilities of the Supreme Court Police force. Specifically, as their duties relate to judicial protection out of the building. Thanks for your help!

Very little if any. Protection is done by the U.S Marshals.

Ah, Sipowitz, I'd know you anywhere My initial research indicated protection done by Marshal's service. But the Supreme Court Police are also charged with protection, I'd guess within the building itself? But now I've run across something that claims Marshals only accompany justices out of town. Which leaves me wondering if anyone provides protection between office and home.

Do you know what color uniforms SCP wear?

I think they're all really old.
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine
