If some kids are vandalizing trees on my property, can i legally use a small squirt gun filled with urine on them? Is there any way that i could do it that would make it legal?

Make sure your homeowner's insurance in paid up first. Because once you get out of jail, that kid's parents are going to sue the hell out of you and I doubt a jury would have much sympathy for your case.

I see no problem with squirting trees with urine. My dog used to do it all the time and I've had a few buddies drinking beer in the back yard who have, well, marked my trees. The trees really don't seem to mind too much.
Edit: Oops! I guess you were talking about squirting the kids with urine? No, don't do that, it is a felony.

Chances are with parents these days, they won't really care, and if they do get them to stop, they'll probably just go vandalize someone elses stuff. Kids these days don't know consequences until its too late, if they're afraid that the next guy is gunna hit em with pee, or maybe just water, they might think twice about doing anything.
What if I set up a water gun and a motion sensor, and put up a sign saying that its to scare deer off my lawn? if they get hit by that because theyre on my property is that ok?

I think your ingenuity is going to get you into trouble. Again, if they're damaging your property, contact the police. Vigilante crap can land you into a lot more problems than those kids will ever cause.

What about just water in the automated one? I really don't want to have to involve the police or thier parents the issue is between me and them.
