    Kids play in water (hoses and so forth) in the summer all the time. I see two options:

    1.) They like it and it encourages them to come back.
    2.) They don't like it and they break it.

    I think the odds that it will work out in your favor are very small.

    It's considered a battery since it involves touching.

    Here's the Florida Statute:

    784.03 Battery; felony battery.

    (1)(a) The offense of battery occurs when a person:

    1. Actually and intentionally touches or strikes another person against the will of the other; or

    2. Intentionally causes bodily harm to another person.

    My recommendation would be to dismiss using any fluid or doing anything that's going to get you in more trouble than your trees are worth. Granted it's frustrating, but a level head needs to prevail

    Additionally, any action you take, will cause a reaction. Sadly, there is no simple solution. Even contacting the parents or the police department can involve some type of future fall out from these "kids."

    Before doing anything, I would seek the advice of the PD or an attorney.
