    Question Maryland State Trooper question

Hi my name is Will, I have always had a sense of wanting to be an officer of the law and to carry out law enforcement duties. As of a month ago i have been becoming more serious about doing so. I registered to police quiz.com and have been studying all i can get out of them and taking all the tests. I have been doing good as my seriousness to become a Maryland State Trooper is no laughing matter. I have read up on as much as i can possibly find on the web about how to become a MD Trooper but would like a Real MD Trooper to give me some helpful insight on the whole process on becoming one, The orientation, the exam, the physical test, the oral board interview, as much as you are willing to share. I know I have what it takes as i believe in myself as does my family, would just like to here from a MD Trooper to calm my nerves. Thanks Will Siebert

What you are asking applies to any law enforcement agency in the nation. You need to compete with others and outshine them in intelligence, common sense, physical performance, integrity, honesty, appearance and desire. That is about all encompassing. Just maintain an honest, forthright and determined attitude and eventually you will succeed.
Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence!

    [George Washington (1732 - 1799)]
