does this sound like drug selling activity? at a house in neighborhood

i live in a community very well known for illegal drug activity and drug use among residents.

About 4 months ago some 2 young adults (21yo-ish)moved into a very small rental house next door too mine. one works at a menial job,the other young adult does not. They party off and on though out the day. Music early in the morning, etc.

They have more different cars and trucks of young people stopping in day and night from their house than a convenience store. As a matter of fact 3 vehicles came to their home and left as i wrote this post. One afternoon a group of 12 teens from 14yo to 21yo emerged from their home.

Does this sound like illegal activity going on? i have contacted local authorities months ago and i have heard from the community grapevine they dont see anything suspicious. from what i was told, this may be wrong, one of the young adults that live in the house are related to a police officer which has added some other concerns.

also i share an entrance to their drive way and mine, if their house was under police observation i would know it, and they would too probably.

maybe i got it all wrong, thats why i ask in this forum for experienced opinions

If there is nowhere they can observe the house without being seen by the bad guys, then it's going to be hard for them to gather information, isn't it?

Try to get some vehicle and license descriptions to give them as a starting point. If they can stop some cars and get some dope, then they have something to work with from an investigative standpoint.

the house plus license plates can be seen from the roadway but any vehicle that stops for more than a second in the roadway becomes extremely conspicuous but it can be done.

the vehicles keep coming and going there. some nights between 12midnight and 2am-ish maybe 4 different vehicles will stop in,even on quiet weekday nights. I have reported it two times.

i hate to ask, is it possible they have a guardian angel in law enforcement looking over them?

I don't know where you live, but here neighborhood drug dealers are all over the place. And we need more than just suspecting they are dealing drugs because they have a lot of traffic. We can't go kick a door in just because of what you've seen so far. That pesky Constitution gets in the way.

To infer someone in LE is on the take is silly. One or two cops can't protect someone that openly involved in crime.

Could it be you have a vivid imagination? Or could it be the problem in your neighborhood isn't the worst problem the police where you live are facing?

Call the police and report the activity. The dealing the drugs is not as important to us as the fact it disrupts and destroys neighborhoods. We don't care what kind of illegal drugs they are selling.

Police on the Internet are not likely to take care of the problem for you, are they?

Just because you don't see police doesn't mean they are ignoring it or that they are not taking active steps toward addressing it.

Sometimes it's a matter of resources. I work for two departments. At one we only run one guy a shift, at the other it's one other than on weekends. At the one where we only run one a shift I know the drug houses but I am only one guy. Does that make me "on the take?". Hell no. I can only be one place at one time and we serve four different communities, some of them 10-15 minutes away from each other.

That could be right, a vivid imagination.

The loud vehicles with young people coming and going like a convenience store 7 nights a week at the rental house is what i am mainly asking if it sounds suspicious?

Yes, it does. It probably is drug dealing. As I said, call your local police and report it.

How do you know an LEO owns the house?

Why don't you call him directly and tell him what you think they are doing in the house he owns if this is true?

I opened a narcotics case that started with complaints of traffic and noise. It closed with multiple arrests and some long prison terms.

The person complaining was a neighbor, who chose to continue reporting dates, times, and license numbers. Our investigators were permitted to use this neighbor's driveway and garage to observe the activity. This citizen knew that "getting involved" could include appearing as a witness. This person kept a notebook that we reviewed and it provided a wealth of background information necessary for getting court orders, warrants, and links to other suspects.

Many people don't want to get involved if the cops cannot fix it in 10 minutes. If a citizen chooses to "not get involved", they should remain quiet, and live with the problem. Destructive gossip about laziness or corruption in the police ranks is not apppropriate or fair.

Your first post indicated 4 months since you contacted police. Contact the police again with information that they may develop some leads. Describe the cars and people, note date and time, and provide some license numbers. A name they may be very interested in may be driving in there daily. People who engage in this activity may have outstanding arrest warrants, and they may drive stolen cars. Offer to show an investigator the view from where you see it. Should you choose to actively assist the police, what you do should not be talked about with other neighbors and friends.
Old people may not live to see the collapse of our Nation. The rest of you may not survive the collapse.
