    How does the taser feel?

I'm sure it doesnt feel great and make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. But then again I think the pepper spray will be worst, considering once you get tazed its over, I would think the pepper spray would hang out with you for awhile. Just curious its starting to float around that I will have to be tazed and sprayed soon.
Also is it spelt with a "z" or an "s" tazed ....tased... I think tazed, not sure though.

I would get tased once a day for a year before I would get sprayed again...to each his own.

I agree, the taser doesnt run down your body in the shower and burn vital areas 8 hours later.

The ride sucks but when it's done you're back to normal.

Yeah, I've been sprayed, gassed, grenaded... you name the delivery system and I have had it, but I recover fairly quick from the OC.

    The Taser just sucks! LOL

Use the search box and type in "TASER" without the quotation marks. There are several threads involving OC vs. TASER.
Of every one hundred men, ten should not even be here. Eighty are nothing but targets. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the One... One of them is a Warrior... He will bring the others back.

No, it doesn't feel great unless you like the sensation you get from touching 2 hot wires together in a 200 AMP electrical system.

Describing the shock alone does not seem to do it justice. You need to remember to add to the pain of the shock pain from the pusling... much like getting slammed by a nice sized hammer at each probe site.

Ditto! I can't really conjure any words to describe the hell that is being tased. Yeah I recover from the Taser faster than the OC, which still isn't very long, but the pain associated with the Taser is just indescribable.

It's my neurosis kicking in, but it's 'TASER' dammit!!! It's an acronym...

    TASER - Thomas A. Swift's Electric Rifle

    Ahhhh, that's better.

I have not taken the ride of the Taser, but I have been hit a couple of times with stun guns we carried back in the early 90's. Very unpleasant and painful, muscles contracting and vibrating at amazing pulses. Like the Taser, recovery was quick. Anyone else get hit with the old stun guns? I hear the Taser is worse?

The first few times I got OC'd, it was miserable and the effects last a lot longer, sometimes hours later skin feeling sunburned. I don't know if it is just me, but I seem to have gotten acclimated to OC and the effects now are not as dramatic when I catch overspray.

I won’t ever take OC off my duty belt simply because I can hit multiple subjects if I have to and the Taser is limited in that area.

Sorry, man. I have been stunned too. They don't compare. A stungun shot to the inner bicep was like hugging a cuddly teddy-bear, compared to the Taser.

Yeah, I've seen a few hits and it seems to reach the entire body as where the stun gun seemed more localized.
