What I was driving at, what you missed, was that simple gun OWNERSHIP (which is what you posted verbatim) is DIFFERENT topic than CARRYING OUT IN PUBLIC concealed or openly, with a permit or not. If you're going to be picky about whether or not previous threads have addressed your "unique" questions/comments/concerns, you should be more clear on what you are talking about.
