This has been asked of you before, but you may have missed it, so I will repeat:

    WHERE ARE YOU?

Different states have different definitions of "Peace Officer." In many states they are the same thing as "Police Officers" so it appears to many people that you are asking what cops do.

In states where they are two different things, I myself have no idea what they would do, and I bet that it is widely different depending on what state you are talking about.

This exact situation is why we ask people to post an introduction, to give a little context to their questions. If you had done so, we could have avoided a lot of unpleasantness in the beginning of this thread.

IF you're in college and you have no idea "what all does a peace officer do", I suggest you demand a refund.

IF this is you higinio maldonado's (gino8364) Profile I call BS on having 8 years military experience (24 years old) AND BS on you wanting to be an LEO (I "marijuana plant logo" TX avatar).

"summer course" for a peace officer certificate? HA save your summer and just get one out of a crackerjack box...

Not to mention Reagan High School Class of '03. But I see firefighter MOS in the Army... Are we talking National Guard? Reserves? I'm only assuming since everything is based in Houston, TX. Like the customer service associate thing at Lowe's.

So... Still 8 years in the military? Because I've got you down as one of two people. Either an E-1 nothing or an E-4 in the National Guard. Delayed entry program per chance giving you that freebee year?

ive posted my email, and have welcomed anyone to view my FB.

maybe this site has a problem with trolls/fake posters etc, but i assure you i was just trying to get info.

i find all of this funny by the way, really not trying to engage in an e-battle with police officers on a message board. like i said tho, sorry for wasting anyone's time and stay safe.

Emails and Facebook isn't proof of anything. Anybody could say they were someone else and use an email and Facebook page as "proof".

You've continued to specifically not address the issue of your military service as it pertains to your age. Couple that with a clear lack of understanding what an officer does and it seems pretty apparent to the casual observer that your head is firmly planted in your impertinent pooper.
Of every one hundred men, ten should not even be here. Eighty are nothing but targets. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the One... One of them is a Warrior... He will bring the others back.

    "Wrong door, buddy!"

Let no man's ghost say my training failed him.

Questions you've been asked multiple times that you have failed to answer:

1.) Your location, as this makes a difference as to the answers we give you.

2.) Discrepencies in your given age vs. the amount of military service you claimed.

Because of this, I do not believe you are truly interested in an answer, nor a real discussion of your circumstances.

This thread has lived longer than it should have. Post an introduction, do some searching, and if you decide to stick around make at least some attempt to help us help you.
