Actually, a single-stack .45 works just as well for people with smaller hands, too.

I once locked up a Navy Lt. Commander for dropping trou and mooning the Weapons Station Security Guards. He was drunk off his kiester.
I discovered the next morning that I'd probably destroyed his career, since him being in the Jail house meant that he "missed movement" of the Nuclear Sub he was stationed on, which is apparently a huge deal.
I think our State Law has some type of hiccup about being unable to ticket a member of the National Guard while he is enroute to a duty station. Its been years since I've seen the law, so I don't know if it is still in effect, but frankly, I'm too lazy right now to look for it for the sake of answering an inconsequential Internet question.
