What could you be charged with?

Hey, I have a scene for a screenplay I'm writing where the following happens. I need to know what the crimes are that the hypothetical criminal is commiting. Any answer would really be appreciated.

You go into a store and hold the store owner up at gunpoint. As he is forking over the cash a cop wanders in, oblivious to the scene in front of him. Cash in hand, you realize you have a problem so you point the gun at the cop and force him to place his firearm on the ground. You then get him to turn around and have the store owner handcuff the cop to a radiator. Then you take the key to the handcuffs and flee the scene with the cop's gun.

What sort of charges could you be brought up on? Also, is this kind of forced submission of the officer feasible? Would it be possible to secure an officer like that? Thanks!

Depends on the state and the statutes they have. Back home, off the top of my head, First Degree Robbery, False Imprisonment, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and probably several more.

    A crime?

Of every one hundred men, ten should not even be here. Eighty are nothing but targets. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the One... One of them is a Warrior... He will bring the others back.

..and that's where I thought this was going to be some type of porn flick..

How much money are we to expect for being consultants to this "screenplay"?

Where on a jukebox can you attach handcuffs? I think you need to work on your storyline some more.

Here.. Armed Robery, Aggravated assault on a LEO, depriving a LEO of his weapon, false imprisonment, grand theft of a LEO firearm, and unlawful possession of a handcuff key. Probably numerous other charges as well. All depends on the state where this happened.

Burglary (enter with the intent to commit a theft); robbery x2 (the clerk then the officer), false imprisonment (x2) and possibly kidnapping (when you force the clerk to move around).
Last charge would have to be murder of a police officer & murder during the course of a robbery. I would NEVER give up my weapon. You'd have to try to kill me first.
Of course as I was pretending to give you my weapon I would shoot and kill you since I have mentally prepared myself for just such an incident.
Not a feasible story line. (What store has a jukebox??)

I was confused as well. Went from radiator to a jukebox. Maybe it wasn't a store. Maybe it was Johnny Rockets!

We've got those out here, but I've never been in one. I'll have to remedy that next weekend.
