I have a few questions on the California Probate code:

1. what is it and how does it work?


2. what is the purpose of it?

3. Why do you have to wait so long to sell any assests after a death?

any advice or help will be greatly appreciated. my mom is trying to deal with my grandma's estate and we dont understand it all.
