I live in Durham, North Carolina
On the 21st of November a car pulled up at my family’s house around 4 in the morning one guy got out of the car and came up to our porch then threw a brick right through our window my family immediately ran outside to try to catch him. We saw him running back to the white Tahoe vehicle jumping in the back seat as two others in the car were yelling "hurry up come on" my dad ran out and slipped outside as it was wet from the rain and hurt his hip, my brother ran right behind the car and got down five digits of the license plate but missed the middle two digits.
My mom is afraid to go to work alone, my brothers are afraid to go to school because we just don’t know what is going to happen next. Can someone please help my family track down the people who are responsible for this?
Here is the license plate for a fairly new white Tahoe: WCX_ _72
My brother was lucky enough to get 5 out of 7 digits as they sped off so fast. The plate was in red characters and the car had tinted windows. If anyone can help us out in any way we would very much appreciate it.
Note: The officers that did show up on the scene after the incident could not help us with finding the owner of the partial plate. I do not even think they ran a check on it.

What makes you think that? Did you ask the officers if they ran the plate?

What you are asking is not the purpose of this forum. Any law enforcement matter can only be handled by your local authorities. If their response was not satisfactory to you, call the department and ask to speak to a supervisor, and politely explain the situation to him/her.

a) We can't just run a plate for you, thats the job of the investigators
b) we can't just run a partial plate, and return all possible matches, but detectives maybe can.
c) You didn't get the state?DONLON
I mean, we're getting killed for these people and they don't even appreciate it. They think it's a big joke.
