How long after being fired is a cop allowed to answer "ask-a-cop" forum questions?

The only people who are allowed to answer questions here are "Verified LEO's"

That means they are either actively serving as LEO's, or have honorably retired.

If they got fired, and the admins/mods confirmed that, they would have the tag removed.

It seems like you are making an accusation here. PM the info to a mod, and they'll take care of it if you are right.

I'll say for now that the information about a termination seems credible, but no details are available yet about whether it was an involuntary lay-off (in which the verified policy gives a 1 year "grace period" to get re-employeed before your tag comes into question), or something else. To maintain the privacy of the member involved, that's all I'll say publicly about it.

Well now, isn't this a mess? I would think that an officer who was terminated would be adult enough to fess up to the Mods to make the appropriate changes. That is integrity. One who does not, well......I shall remain !

He already has fessed up to admin/mods, prior to this thread with continued feedback subsequent to it. Let's not cast stones at anyone without knowing the facts. Again, I'm going to leave out details giving out someone's private info, but this is being handled.
