I hear a great deal of rhetoric about getting the "bad guys"?
Do you believe that everyone you arrest is a "bad guy"? (or girl, don't want to be sexist!)

Are all people arrested by police bad people? No, sometimes good people do dumb or irresponsible things, and have to face legal consquences. I've arrested people I thought were decent folks who just did dumb things, and I've arrested people who are truly evil, and many more that are somewhere in the middle (typically these are your "career criminal" types). However, I do detect a less-than-subtle tone to your post, that you think cops spew "rhetoric" about the whole world being bad. That's horse sh!t, BTW.

Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice.
My new hero!
I arrest people who commit crimes, so everyone I arrest is a "bad guy"
What do you consider a "bad guy" to be? If someone broke into your home and stole your posessions, or robbed you at gunpoint, or carjacked you, or raped your wife/mother/sister, or shot someone you know - would you consider him a "bad guy" and want them arrested/punished, or would you rather have someone say "This person accused of this crime had a rough childhood, and did not have the same opportunities afforded others, therefore he is the real victim, and should not be held accountable for his actions but rather given therapy and a home and job"?
