Question CA PC 243.4 (misdemeanor) questions

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am a criminal justice student doing some research on California PC 243.4 (e)(1), misdemeanor sexual battery. Part of the project includes describing to the class just how an officer would respond to such a call. I have used multiple text resources and have come up with a the general procedure but i would just like to talk to someone who has personally dealt with this kind of contact. If you have ANY spare time to tell me about your experience, it would be much appreciated! -ms. griffith

I strongly recommend that you log off the internet, get into a car (or public transit mode of your choice) and go to a police station to interview a real, live California Police Officer about this.

Listing a specific section leads me to ASSume that this is more likely based on a real situation rather than a homework assignment (i.e. procedures on a general sexual battery call). If that is true, follow up with the agency that took the call...

+1 It is always best to discuss these types of scenarios with those who are actively investigating them. Besides, you will definitely have more questions and by talking directly to someone, the questions can be addressed more quickly.
