Hi all, here’s the deal
I'm almost finished with my B.A in Pre-Law studies and I can't decide weather I would like to go to law school or try a career in Law Enforcement. I heard the crazy story about being DQ for crazy things and I was wondering would it be a waste of time if I applied.
The Bad: I tried pot at age 18 and twice at age 22(none before or after that). At age 18 I bought pot for personal use and didn’t want it so I gave to one of my friends. I had a relationship with three girls that might be consider questionable. At age 18 I had girlfriend of 8 months that lied about her age she was 16. At the age 19 had had a girlfriend of 10 months that was 17 for 2 months in the relationship and at age 22 I had a one nighter with a girl that lied about her age. The way I found out was that I became close to her family and eventually found out her real age. I am now 25 and would be 27 before I apply, I’ve be married for over a year and I have worked as a Sheriffs Deputy for 2 yrs in the past but they didn’t do that polygraph stuff. Will this stuff DQ me? The only time I have be caught doing something illegal was for was driving on a suspend license in which I was ticketed for and paid the the fine. My license is has be reinstated for over 2 years now and 4 year before I apply. Also I was informed that credit was also a factor. My Credit score is at 640. So should I still look at law enforcement or just go to law school?
Thanks
