So you're a convicted felon who flies off the handle when criticized about your writing? Definitely someone that should have a gun.
In response to your question as others have said you need to give a state. There is no "youthful offender" program in PA.

One thing I noticed about his posts that nobody else mentioned....
In my area the only person who will repeatedly refer to you as "boss" is someone who has spent an extended amount of time in the confines of the justice system. I actually mention it to trainees when it happens out in the field because it's an unusual manner of address that is indicative of an uneducated subject feigning respect.

A "juvenile offender" in NY is someone who is 14 or 15 and commits a violent felony, or 13 and commits certain murders, and = adult jail, not juvenile detention.
At 16 in NYS you're an adult. In NY there are up to E felonies, grand larceny being over $1,000, or other specifics (credit cards, etc) and 3rd degree (the D felony) being over $3,000, but under $50,000. Most GLAs (grand larceny auto) fall under this. In addition to the D felony of GL, there will often be a second felony of the same class of CPSP (criminal possession stolen property).
You were charged with grand larceny, but what were you convicted of?
