The airborne officers did not plot your speed. They merely flew at a speed that was equivalent to yours and calculated their own true air speed (TAS) and covertied it to the Equivalent Ground Speed (EGS). If the TAS, or EGS, was greater than the speed limit permitted on that stretch of highway, your vehicle was obviously going too fast. You were then stopped and issued a ticket for the violation. Simple as that!!!

If you don't remember how to compute speed, here are the formulas:

Airspeed - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ground speed - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Good luck!
That's why I hated working traffic, too much math. I preferred to just drive around beat people up.
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

I mean, we're getting killed for these people and they don't even appreciate it. They think it's a big joke.

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

Speeding tickets in Florida are "Civil" infractions. There is no discovery. The officers (the officer in the plane and the officer that actually issued the citation will have to both appear in court) and they will have the appropriate documents necessary to make a prima facia case.

Elect to attend court and you can review the documents then.
This isn't Burger King, you are not going to get it your way.
