A year ago I was going through backgrounds for a position of Custody Assistant with the LASD. Process was going well until poly test, anyway I was comfortable with the test and knew what to expect seeing as I had passed a poly before for another agency.
Getting to it I was DQ'd for "counter measures", I know what that is but in no way was I trying to deceive the examiner or the test in any form. Are there any LASD people here who can tell me if it would be ok to reapply?
I'm fully aware the test results can come back once I start another application, but I'm positive I can pass another poly. The day I took mine I was just mentally fatigued because of personal problems that arose.
It says DQ may be permanent, I've been told results are only for one year after letter is sent. Any info will be extremely helpful.
