Academics portion of the academy

There is info out there about the PT portion of the academy but i can not find much about the difficulty of the academics portion of the academy. A former officer i have talked to says you are required to take four pages of rough draft notes for every 15 minutes of class room instruction but i do not know if he is trying to make me worry or what. Any info in general about all of yours experience at your own academies would be helpful,

Depends on the academy. When I went through nearly 40 years ago, my notes were graded every couple of weeks. But it wasn't horrible. What ever they have you do, if everyone else does it, I suspect you probably can too.

Based on all you posts I think you're gonna give yourself an ulcer before you even get hired. Just relax and stop worrying so much what the academy is like. Academies suck, but you get through them, plain and simple. Take a breath.

Our academy didn't care if you didn't write a single thing down the entire time. Just gotta pass the tests.

You have a good point, i worry to much. It just means a lot that i can become a officer, like that saying goes knowledge is power so i try to find out everything i can. But like you said i need to relax. Thanks
