I don't run into the Marshalls to offten but I deal with DEA & ICE quite a bit. I don't think business casual is mandatory anymore.

I've had DEA & ICE guys show up to pick up dope cases and/or interview people in shorts & flip flops.

I also had in interview one time with an OIG guy and he was in ripped up jeans & a shirt that was covered in dried paint.
    Wrong door, buddy

DEA dressed like the homeless even when I worked.....
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

It depends on the assignment. Tactical stuff has its own uniform, as does cellblock or prisoner transport. Court calls for a suit, and warrants is just street wear. In NYC, the accepted warrant uniform appears to be work boots, cargo pants, a tee shirt under a sports jersey, and some kind of baseball cap. Goatee is optional.

I was just in Philly for a week, and the uniform of the day was a suit and tie. First time in a while. I'd forgotten how little I like wearing them. I think I'll wear flip-flops and cargo shorts for the next week, just to get my equilibrium back.
