    K9,

I concur in the desirability of avoiding any flame war, though I think it would be a mistake to forbid debate regarding a topic of interest to the law enforcement community because it is controversial. It's better to have such debates, even if they may at times become heated. Your above word of caution is exactly the right approach, in my opinion.

Regrettably, I do think that DC Law's last post is pretty clearly a personal attack against me, rather than a reasoned rebuttal of anything I've written in this message thread. Without rancor, I would like to correct some of the misinformation in DC Law's post. He writes:
I don't run any such websites (which in any event appear not to exist), nor do I support any of the objectives that these names suggest.
To those who are newer here and responding to the site in the mistaken belief that George is a welcome member of this community, please be put on notice that he's reviled by most of us because honor and integrity are key to Law Enforcement and George makes his living pandering to people who have neither. He just creeps in here to stick his website link all over our board to try to generate site traffic to his own pathetic site. We've told him that if he wants to run commercials here he should contact our site owner and offer to pay for his ads, but he refuses to do it.
I've posted links to information on AntiPolygraph.org where relevant to the topic of discussion. All such information is free, and no one is making any money on it. I have scrupulously abided by RealPolice.net's rules of conduct.

I believe in, and to the best of my ability live by, the same honor code (not to lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do) that DC Law does. I would refer any who are interested in how I became involved in the polygraph issue to my statement, "Too Hot of a Potato: A Citizen Soldier's Encounter With the Polygraph."

    Respectfully,

    3. REAL POLICE is a spam-free community. Advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, solicitations, repeated bumping of old threads for no reason, and posts that are designed in a way to damage or inhibit the operation of the system or the enjoyment of other posters may be removed.

George, it is in my opinion and viewpoint that you are definetly pushing the line on this issue. Regardless if you are making money or not, everytime you post you are including links to your website. It is obvious to me, and the other members who have mentioned this, that your sole purpose on this board is to put out your message anytime someone has a question about the polygraph. To me, that would be considered solicitation and/or advertisements. DC Law is correct, there are many members who do not appreciate you being here, however, I do not see you leaving anytime soon. Although, I would consider this a warning regarding the continued advertisement of your website and information on said website.

DC Law also pushed the line regarding his statements, however, he is not the only one has voiced the same sentiments. I do not wish to have a flame war, and I am happy that one has not started. I have spoken to DC Law about his comments and that end has been taken care of. However, I am now asking you to comply. Hopefully this can be a resolved issue between you and the community, or else other action might have to be taken.

    Thank you,

    K9

I agree. How can you send a good candidate for the FBI, State Police or ANY public safety profession that requires a polygraph, to anti-poly.org or whatever it is? It only makes them wonder if they CAN get away with things, which is the wrong attitude to have during a poly.
