Your agency doesn't have flashy thingys? Those are integral parts of the duty belt these days. You guys really need to catch up. Flashy thingys and doomahickies are absolutely necessary these days. Safety Steve obviously didn't have the whatchamadoodle on hand during his pursuit - those are clear spaceship stoppers. Then the alien gets the doomahickies put on and all witnesses are flashy thinged. Really makes for less paperwork.

Just because the government does not disclose everything to you does not detract from us living in the land of the free. If you want to b1tch about freedom, go China, North Korea. Cuba, etc. Obviously you do not have, nor have you EVER had a security clearance. There is a thing, called "Need to Know" and if you don't need to, why bother. I have done enough, requiring clearences to believe that I am not necessarily better off knowing everything.

So tell me, do you feel oppressed by not knowing the range of a tactical nuke in some of our field artillary shells? How about knowing the floor plan of the building where Sadaam's trials were held? I know that I don't feel any freer knowing it.
