Police officers can carry off duty. Why can't ACO carry off duty? Arizona civilians can carry a handgun.

I am going to create a scenerio.

Lets say I get a complaint on a dog and when I arrive to the owner's home to speak to the gentlemen. In worse case scenerio he pulls a gun out of his pocket because he lost his job, his wife, his money, and now he risks losing his dog. What are my limits as a armed ACO?


I am not saying this is common but you always have to plan for the worst case.
