I keep my dogs on my property or on a leash at all times. However, if one accidently got out, got on your property and you shot it, you would not only be arrested, but I would spend the rest of my life making your life as miserable as I possibly could.

Thanks for all the responses. This actually happened to one of my neighbors; a new family moved in and shot their puppy because it was on their property.
Possible Deadly Conduct charges here in Texas.
