Is this considered harassment?

Is it considered harassment or stalking if I send a love letter to someone who might not remember me from last year? I would send it through Facebook. I met the girl in December of last year. She's the most beautiful person I've met (on the inside and outside). I can't stop thinking about her. I'm not on her Facebook friends list though. I haven't talked to her since.

I'd like to let her know my feelings but I don't want her to call the SWAT team. I'm in LA now but she's in Europe (where she lives).

Any suggestions?

If you are both of legal consenting age I don't see a problem with you sending her a letter telling her that she's a beautiful person on the inside and out.

Problems pop up when people don't get those feelings reciprocated and they embark on an ongoing pattern of unwanted attention in the form of email, letters, phone calls, text messages....etc... even though they've been asked to stop.

Maybe you should read the California penal code definition of Stalking and it will give you and idea of what NOT to do.

(and btw good luck.... but couldn't you find someone beautiful on the inside and out locally?)

I doubt any European police dept is going to extradite even if they did put out a warrant for you for stalking. As far as my department goes we do not have access to Interpol even though a rook once tried to run a Mexican driver's license....:D
