Hello! I was wondering about a traffic ticket my boyfriend got a couple months ago. And there's one little error on it. By the ticket the cop wrote. It's like the vehicle doesn't even exist at all. Would he be able to fight that in Court? We live in Saskatchewan.

As to your question: Yes you can fight the ticket.

This is usually a procedural issue. You bring the error to the judge's attention. With a stroke of his pen, the officer will amend the citation in court to reflect the corrected information. Once that has been taken care of, everything is correct and the trial proceeds.
No harm, no foul.

An error on the citation will not get it dismissed. As was already stated, the officer will simply correct the error on the citation.
