In many instances, yes. Let's face it - most of these shows are designed to attract male audiences, and they use women as the lure. Have you ever turned on "Spike"? That's their M.O. I cant speak to this show, because I ahvent seen it and have no plans to see it - I dont watch these kinds of shows. But rom the commercials, this looks like a show that uses women as a tool. It appears to be less about LE and more about the women. I watch The First 48 and The Shift - they have female dics and investigators and yet I see no objectification. But in this show, I do. So, if you are interested in any show because the objectification of women as sexual pawns, then just skip the pretext.
