Classes haven't started yet, so I know squat diddly sh!t. However, I say "oh gee" rather than "geez" or "jeez". "Jeez" would suggest that Jesus is somewhere involved and maybe he doesn't want to be part of this... :confused:

Don't think that way! It's not a matter of hurting his feelings, what you're doing is giving him the idea that the relationship isn't completely over. I've had more crime victims than I can count that didn't want to hurt someone's feelings. If it's over, it's over. He's a big boy, let him suffer all the consequences of his actions.;)

When someone grows up in an abusive environment, that's what we gravitate to when we leave. It's bad, but it's familiar. I've ridden in that rodeo as both an amateur and a professional.

Break it off completely and let him know it's over and done and not to ever contact you again. It's not being a jerk, it's standing up for yourself like "normal" people do.;) Take it from someone who had to learn how to be normal.:D

So true. It's all a matter of perspective. The way he treated me was soooo much better than anything I had been used to, but other ("normal") people would view our relationship as abusive.
