i am in state texas, city sugarland
sugarland municipal court ordered community srvc
i am 17 year old, i got a traffic ticket cuz i was driving at 108mph and judge gave me 6 months to complete 40 hours community srvc and to take a saving our kids class and re take driving test and do deffensive driving ,
i didnt did community srvc , i just re take dps test and deffensive driving
could judge sent me to jail for not doing 40 hours srvc and for not taking a class ordered by the judge
my court date is on june 12
i am very nervous

Um, could you potentially be facing consequences (like jail) for not doing what the judge ORDERED you to do? Yes. It will be up to the judge.....

Of course he can send you to jail, and he probably will. Judges usually don't like it when people blatently ignore their orders.

I'm sure he was just kidding when he ordered community service. Just tell him you thought he was kidding. You can all have a good laugh, bump each other in the ribs, and go out for a root beer float afterward.

Its called contempt of court. You should have done your court ordered community service. You might spend some time in jail, and still have to do the community service, and since you're 16 or over, you go to adult jail, not kid jail.

Since you didn't do your community service, the best thing would be just not show up for your court date. Maybe the will forget about it and it would be no big deal then.

mannn i am soooo nervous,
because i had a lawyer to defend my case so it wont come on my record,
he called 4 days ago to reming me of my date, and asked me that have i done all my court ordered things,
i told him no
HE GOT SOOO mad and he said may be he wont go infront of judge with me, and he sais that the judge of this court is very strict,
Hope i dont face jail charges,
but if i did, how long wil they put me in jail for, and what other fines would i have to pay i mean jail bond or any other fines
PLEASE GUYS HELP ME OUTT, I AM REALLY SCARED
MY COURT IS TOMORROW
JUNE 12 THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE
