I could not agree more, when you respond to the chilling call of an accident with injuries in the wee hours of the morning...you always get that vibe. You pull up on scene and know that the only @$$#@&% alive is the guy that can't stand because he is wasted....the others go home in bags!

    Sad but true!

The 3rd timer penalty for the .16 and higher crowd is now 1-5 years in State Prison. Plus up to a 10K fine and a 18 month suspension.

    Queensland; Australia.

We have numerous categories for drink driving. Briefly (complicated legislation)...

Professional driver (ie Taxi; bus; transport etc) and on duty ZERO%

Up to 24 years of age and on a provisonal licence ZERO%

Open licence holder (Provisional licence for three years and then you obtain an open licence) .05%

We don't like drink driver's in Queensland. Most other states are similar.

We have random breath testing. You drive, we stop you and you get tested; no reason required. Don't want to be tested? You get arrested and you are DEEMED to be a 'major' UIL reading and get charged accordingly.
