    Felons and Black Powder weapons

Hell, My question is can a convicted (non-violent) felon own a black powder rifle or black powder cap and ball pistol? According to what I have read on Federal Firearms laws and state laws(Indiana); yes they can, if the weapon is pre 1899 or a replica. Thanks in advance for any help.

Looks like we have a new member who is going to be so productive here! Three posts and all are leading down a dark path...one on police corruption...one on getting a criminal charge downgraded and one on owning a weapon as a convicted felon. Can't wait to see where this goes.
