Searching for a Law Enforcement friend

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

I have a Law Enforcement friend that I have lost touch with over the years. I have looked into the areas where he was last employed and no one seems to know of him. My father thought the world of him and I wanted to find my friend to let him know that my father was killed in a head-on collision that was caused by a teenager using a cell phone while driving. My friend would want to know about this.

I understand the importance of safety and privacy and I wouldn't ask anyone to give me private information. However, if anyone can locate my friend and give him my contact information it would be very appreciated and I would be forever grateful.

My friend's name is Michael David Montgomery. He is 45 yrs old and his birth month is September. He was a police officer in Jackson, GA. After that he became the Chief of Police in Jonesboro, GA. The last time I spoke with him was a few years ago when he was doing some sort of special police work in the Lamar County, GA S.O.

If any Officers reading this post know of Mike Montgomery or can find him to get my contact info to him, please do not hesitate to give him this contact address cieciecristalataol.

No one here is going to give you any information. You could conduct your own internet search or hire a Private Investigator.

I certainly understand that no one would give me information. That is why I asked that my contact info be given to him, if anyone here knows of him. Mike knows my family and would contact me if he had my updated contact information. He would definately want to know about my father.

I have been doing an internet search. However, most of the information is outdated. And when my internet search led me to this site, I honestly thought it might be an avenue to help get this information to my friend, whom would indeed, thank the person that got the information to him.

BTW....Maybe Mike is a member of this site and will himself see this query. Wouldn't it be thought to reason that an investigator (private or otherwise) is not needed to figure that out as a possible lead in an internet search?

Contact the last agency he worked for and ask if theres a forwarding agency. If so, ask if they will forward your information to him. With that said, its unlikely unless your a family member or have some sort of legitimate reason other than just to find him. Many bad things can happen as a result to either party.

I know that many people have already read my query and I appreciate the time that anyone has taken to read it. I will not choose to look upon anyone else here as the type of individual that mr.txinvestigator displays himself to be. I know there are good people in this world that would pass along a message to a friend if they knew of someone searching for that friend. Hopefully Mr. Montgomery is a member of this site and will find this post. I can say to everyone that Mr. Montgomery is an honerable man behind a badge and a man of good nature.

Based on the information you provided in your first post, and the availability of the internet, I have concluded that "MDM", former police chief in Jonesboro, GA was at one point at least suspended from that position for domestic assault against his wife.

For the record, I'm not putting anything out there that's not already readily available on the internet.

I don't know if they were divorced or not at that point. My father never said one way or the other. However, I remember the charges were dismissed and he was reinstated then shortly after that he went to Lamar Co.

I apologize if I offended you by posting replies to someone who has been rude to me since I got here. The reason that I found this site was due to a search I was conducting to locate a friend that I have lost touch with. I only wanted to find my friend and let him know about the death of my father. I had no idea that I would not be welcome here. I have nothing but respect for people working very hard in our law enforcemnt organizations across america. I had only the best of intention. It is not the best of times for me and my family since my father was killed, so I may have been a bit insulted by the rude comments that that Texas guy was throwing at me. I taught my daughter to respect the law and it's officers. I taught her that they are there to help and she can always count on that. She now teaches my grandchildren the same thing. However, after my negative experience here with someone who claims to be an investigator, lends some amount of doubt to the integrity of some of the people who represent the law. I suppose you are right. I should have never stooped to his low level. I apologize and will edit the post. Thank you for bringing to my attention my bad reaction to a personal attack from someone who obviously doesn't represent nor display the same kindness and integrity that you do.
