Which Duty Boot?

I am considering the following:

5.11 Tactical Speed
Magnum Stealth Force
Original Swat with the air cushion heel
Ridge Air-Tac

Any experience with any of these?

Here we usually use

boots on duty and they are good ones!

I wear the Danner GTX Pursuits or the Bates Side-Zips.
Lately, I've been going for the Bates simply because they are side-zip and easy to get on (and off after a long shift!).

No experience with the ones you mentioned however.

I've been thinking about trying a pair of the Original Swat Boots. I've heard good thinks about them. But any on your list will do.

Vasque Sundowners here. They were nice until production got shipped to China.

Most people in my department seem to wear Oakley boots.

Danner Acadia - but might want to search I think this topic gets discussed ad nauseam about every three months. Think it's usually under general though.

I've worn Oakley for the last few years. They are wicked light and comfortable. But, they suck in the rain....which I have a pair of waterproof converse to wear.

Ridge air-tacs only lasted me 4-6 months before I wore the sole down. They were comfortable and easy to shine for the academy.
