Brock,
Just as I thought, you have no idea at all what you are talking about.
I know you will come in here to continue viewing this thread, so let me tell you what the law enforcement officers are really like.
A few years ago, while I was in homicide, we developed enough information to issue a search warrant for the murder suspect’s residence. Because of the “bad” neighborhood, in a bordering jurisdiction, we were unable to conduct specific intell via neighbors about who all may be in the house. However, we did see young children’s toys in the yard.
The SWAT team of the local jurisdiction agreed to make entry to secure the residence before we processed it. Even though this was a drug related homicide, it was discussed and finally agreed upon that because of the fear of innocent small children in the residence, SWAT would knock and announce, in both English and Spanish, instead of a dynamic entry with flash bangs, window racking, etc.
I stood nearby and heard the announcements, just before multiple shots rang out with two deputies wounded as well as the suspect. There were no children in the house, just the scumbag who shot the deputies.
I had to step over the blood smears of brave law enforcement officers who were dragged out of the house. Blood spilled because these fine men were also fathers and caring individuals who knowingly risked their safety in order to avoid injuring children.
Additionally, your ignorance shines brightly because I was personally standing in stack when detcord was used to take a door off in the early 1990’s so your statement of the devices being new is just like you, full of ****.
Based upon my personal experience I hope you fully understand and don’t mind when I call you out for presenting yourself as an ill-bred, arrogant, self-absorbed pugnacious ******* that has no idea what this job and its modern knights are really all about.
