I am a full time police officer in progreso texas, i have just started to work part time at a vocational school doing security. The director of education has asked me to find information on how to start a school police department. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Might want to start with the different procedural laws of the state and county.
Also you're going to have to get verified here, claiming that you're a PO. I'm sure someone else will PM or give you more info.DONLON

I have a few patches from Texas University and College PD's. Look at google and write to the depts in your state.
