    tcsco question about tcleose

Hey guys, Im new to his snd this may be a dumb question. I am about to take my final physical for the travis county sherriffs corrections job. I believe I will be attending the academy in March sometime. My question is - is the TCLEOSE test I will be taking in the academy the same as every other one? Or is there different ones for corrctions, deputy, apd ect...? Thanks.

There is one for corrections and one for peace officers. You'll be taking the one for corrections obviously. Your exam (which you will be prepared for during your 3 week corrections academy) will cover jail standards and only those portions of the Penal Code and CCP which are relevant to your work as a corrections officer.

Good luck and congrats on the job!
