Is This Legal with the Right Paperwork?

Thank you for your time in reading and replying to my question. I keep hearing about "medical marijuana". I also hear that it is illegal. If somebody is growing it on their property, and they have paperwork from doctors saying that it is allowed to be growing on their property- for medical purposes- then is it truly legal for them to do so? I tend to be kind of naive, so I would really like to know the law concerning this, once and for all. Again, thank you for your help and any information you can give me on this subject. I appreciate all you do.

We can't explain the law to you "once and for all", because it's an ongoing argument.

In 99.9% of all medical marijuana cases, it's nothing but a scam. Even more so if the person with the prescription is growing it.

For that small percentage that truly need it, THC is supposedly available in pill form.

It is. I had to handcarry the seized pills and the results back and forth to Chemists who hadn't seen them before back when they first came out... 10 or so years ago.

Remember, the federal govt. does not recognize or have provisions for medical marijuana. So even if you possess it legally under state law you could be prosecuted federally.
